Albert J. Ramsbottom was opened on 1st June 1982 in the heart of
Northampton town centre. It brought about a new concept in dinning for Britain's
favorite food - fish and chips. Gone are the days of fish & chips being served in newspaper
to a bright, modern restaurant serving high quality food. With the business being in the same
hands for the past 25 years we strive to provide fish & chips to a high quality with excellent
friendly service and offering value for money. We only use fish of the finest quality, the very best of
Lincolnshire potatoes, and high quality vegetable oil. We have invested in state of the art
equipment to produce the best fish & chips. Our menu hasn't changed a great deal over the years
, but we do offer a wide choice of fish for the more adventorous diner with a healthy option
of fish grilled or pecked with flavourings and sauces. We also offer a kids menu, a prompt
takeaway service, call order service, and delivery service for party bookings, sheltered housing
schemes, and bulk orders. A senior citizen menu is also available on Mondays and Thursdays.
